The orchestral ensemble Les Voyages Extraordinaires gave its first concert in 2006. A variable-geometry ensemble of up to fifty professional musicians, its first violin, Guy Comentale, was previously first violin and soloist of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
The unanimously recognized artistic quality of the Ensemble orchestral Les Voyages Extraordinaires allows it to welcome the greatest international soloists: Anne Gastinel, Emmanuel Rossfelder, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Lucas Debargue, Christine Icart, Philippe Bernold, Augustin Dumay, Kristof Barati, Sarah Nemtanu, Jean-Philippe Lafont, Uran Urtnasan-Cozzoli, Sylvia Hwang, Anna Kasyan, etc.
Currently ,Raphaël Jousse della Giustina is associate conductor of the Ensemble orchestral Les Voyages Extraordinaires, after having been its assistant conductor.

The Mixer is open to delegates who qualify for membership of the Young Crystallographers Group. This includes not only students but postdoctoral fellows and other younger scientists up to an age limit of 35 years.

Groves and fountains are decorated with a thousand lights, surreal illuminations, and wonderful bubbles. The Sun King's music follows you all along your stroll. For one evening time comes to a standstill.
